The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold double foiled habaki.
Blade length : 68.02 cm or 26.77 inches.
Sori : 2.7 cm or 1.06 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.85 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.61 cm or 0.63 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Muromachi period Bunmei 17th year (1485)
Shape : It is normal width and thickness. There is deep sori which makes the shape look elegant.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained iwth jinie attached. It is clear jigane. There is faint utsuri seen in the ji.
Hamon :Nie strucutre gunome midare with sharp gunome midare mixed. It is clear hamon.

Special feature : Heianjyo Yoshinori is a sword smith from Yamashiro province. The jigane is outstanding and it shows gracefulness at the same time. This sword has rare back signature engraved as Bunmei 11th year July.
The jigane is good and the hamon reminds of Ouei piece. It is elegant piece of work.
