Yari: Mumei attribute as Monju

Yari in Shirasaya. (NBTHK Hozon paper)
Signature : Mumei (unsigned) Monju
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jo ranking.

The blade is polished.
Blade length : 42.4 cm or 16.7 inches.
Mekugi : 2 (1 is open)
Kasane : 0.88 cm or 0.35 inches.
Era : Later Muromachi period.
Shape : Very rare Kata-Kama style Yari with long blade.
Jigane : Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attach beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Nie-deki deep Nioikuchi Suguha.
Special feature: Monju school are a branch of Yamato swords smiths active specially during Muromachi to early Edo period.
Nanki Shigekuni caled himself Monju and then teh second generation also.
This style Yari is very rare.
