Katana in Shirasaya, with Koshirae(NBTHK Tokubetsu Hozon paper)

Signature : Mumei (Hokke)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Mumei (Hokke) belongs to Jyojyo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki :Gold double foiled habaki.
Blade length : 63.0 cm or 24.80 inches.
Sori : 0.6 cm or 0.23 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.15 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.62 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Nanbokucho Period.
Shape : Regular size, Osuriage Mumei Katana. There are Bo-Hi on the both side.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada and Mokume Hada mixed with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha with Ko-Ashi.

Special feature : Hokke is called as Bingo Ichijyo school.
They are all buddists and some (Buddhist) priests were making swords.
These swords are Suguha mainly and gentle feeling.
This sword has passed more than 650 years with polished.
This blade is also old, Nanbokucho period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Shakudo Tsuba with Sukashi open work.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Ishime-Ji.
Saya : Black color Saya with gold Makie flower.
Menuki : Shakudo, flower is engraved with gold color.
Kogatana : Shakudo Nanako, flower is engraved with gold.
