(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku, Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Yoshihara Yoshindo belongs to Jyo-Jyo saku ranking.

Sayagaki was done by Yoshindo.
The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Blade length : 75.3 cm or 29.64 inches.
Sori : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.23 cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.52 cm or 0.99 inches.
Kasane : 0.85 cm or 0.33 inches.
Era : Gendai.
Shape : The blade is wide and thick with deep sori and engrave bo-hi on both sides of the blade nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach beautiful wonderful texture.
Hamon : Koniedeki like nioideki base, Cyoji midare hamon and in Hamon, there are many sunagashi and kinsuji work.
Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : Yoshihara Yoshindo was born at Syowa 18th(1943).
He got the permission to make Japanese sword at Syowa 40th and got the prize of the Takamatsu no miya syo and after that Syowa 57th,
he became to Mukansa Tosyo which means one of the top ranking sword makers.
At now he became Important cultural asset professional deliberation commissioner.
He also work at USA and other places.
This sword is long size with very attractive Jigane and wonderful Cyoji midare hamon.
