Shinto:Jyo saku ranking:Settsu.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Mutsu Kami Kaneyasu (Hidari Mutsu) belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
habaki:gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 74.8 cm or inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.05cm or inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.1cm or inches.
Kasane : 0.695cm or inches.
Era : Edo Shoho era.period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick
with small sori and longer kissaki which looks like Kaei style.
Jitetsu :Itame hada and mokume hada mixed
with jinie attach well grained texture.
Hamon : Niedeki with thic nioikuchi notarehamon
and gunome midare mixed and double hamon.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Mutsu Kami Kaneyasu who is called Hidari mutsu.
The signature is mentioned revers side unusual signature.
