Blade length : 37.4 cm or 14.72 inches.
Sori : 3.2 cm or 1.25 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.89 cm or 1.13 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.76 cm or 1.08 inches.
Kasane : 0.8 cm or 0.31 inches.
Era : Showa 58(1983)
Shape : Regular sized, nice shape Naginata.
Jitetsu :Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached. This is beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki, Gunome Midare with deep Nioikuchi, long Ashi, Sunagashi and Kinsuji.
Boshi is round Hakikake style.

Special feature : Yaguwa Yasutake was born in Meiji 42year(1909) at Yamagata prefecture.
He is known as a Yasukuni-tosho who was a pupil of Ikeda Ikko.
Yasutake enterd the Nihon-to Tanren Kai in1935.
After the Second world war, he resumed forging sword in 1954. In 1970, Yasutake and Sakai Hiroshi forged a collaboration tanto for a centenary of the Yasukuni Shrine. In 1973, Yasutake forged a Tachi to dedicate the Ise shrine. In 1981, he finally became a Mukansa-tosho. He passed away in 1983.
The Naginata of Yasukake is very rare. In Ha, there is long Ashi Choji Midare with Sunagshi and Nioikuchi. It is very rare subject which was made by Yasutake(father)and Tadao(son).
