Katana : Bishu Osafune Sukemitsu (Notoreliable signature)

Katana in Shirasaya, with Koshirae (Not gurantee)

Signature : Bishu Osafune Sukemitsu (Notoreliable signature)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku, Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Jyo-saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 67.8 cm or 26.69 inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.11cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.98 cm or 0.77 inches.
Kasane : 0.67 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is suriage nakago.
The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Koniedeki cyoji midare hamon with ashi, yo scatter and round shape Kissaki.

Special feature : Bishu Osafune Sukemitsu was working at late Nanbokucyo period to late Muromachi period.
At a glance, the blade looks good signature and genuine blade but when observe carefully ,the sword looks not so old.
I think the sword was made around late Edo period.
So at this time we sell the sword not guarantee the signature.
The blade itself was polished perfectly and good condition without Kizu and flow.
Also enjoy the Jigane and Hamon and also the shape of the sword.

Koshirae : Good condition.
Tsuba : On the round shape iron tsuba, Fukurin was made by Yamagane.
Fuchikashira : Kojiri: On the Yamagane jigane, carved some glasses and flower.
Saya : On the gray saya, black belts are painted.
Menuki : Tachi and helmet are engaved by Yamagane plate.
