Katana in Shirasaya, with Koshirae.(NBTHK Hozon Paper)

Signature : Hizen koku Ju Noritada
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Noritad belongs to Futsu ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki :Copper single foiled habaki
Blade length : 76.1 cm or 29.96 inches.
Sori : 1.4 cm or 0.55 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.10 cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.17 cm or 0.85 inches.
Kasane : 0.77 cm or 0.30 inches.
Era : Edo Kanbun Period
Shape : It is long(76.01cm) wide and thick nice shape katana
Jitetsu :Itame hada with mixture of MOkume hada. Jinie is attached.

Hamon : Nie deki gunome midare with Sunagashi activities inside. Boshi is irregular Midarekomi and sharp ended.

Special feature : Hizen koku Jyu Noritada is before Waki Hizen however now
he has taken over the along and wonderful price.

Koshirae : It is strong koshirae
Tsuba :Round shape iron tsuba with Momiji (Japanese red maple) engraved in openwork.
Fuchikashira :Shakudo nanakoji plate with plum design engraved and inlaid with
Saya : Black Roiro saya.
Menuki : Shakudo plate with plum design engraved and inlaid with gold.
