The blade was polished.
Habaki : Silver Single foiled habaki
Blade length : 73.3 cm or 28.85 inches.
Sori : 1.6cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.0 cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.45 cm or 0.96 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.28 inches.
Weight of only blade : 830g
Era : Modern period.
Shape : It is rather wide thick with slight curve. It is good condition blade.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. The steel surface is beautiful.
Hamon : Nie base gunome mixture with ashi and yo inside with sunagashi.
The top Boushi part is irregular line.

Special Feature : Yoshimitsu, born Fukuda Mitsuo in 1912 was a swordsmith in Saga pref.
He became a pupil of Koyama Nobumitsu in 1932 and worked for the Japanese navy at Sasebo in Nagasaki pref.
During wartime. He forged a memorial sword when Japan concluded the peace treaty with the United States in 1952.
After that he got the Nyusen prize at the sword making competition held by the NBTHK in 1955, 1958, 1968 and 1970.
He studied iron material for many years.
According to the inscription on the reverse side of the tang, this katana is a collaboration he and his wife Hiro.
This blade has much active work inside the ha. We recommend this blade.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On oval shape iron tsuba, water wheel and flower design is engraved and inlayed with gold. 
Fuchikashira : Fuchi: Shakudou base with pattern engraved. Kashira : Horn
Saya : Dark brown ishimeji saya.
Menuki : On Shinchuu base dragon design is engraved and inlayed with gold.
