This Toyomasa belongs to Jyo-saku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki : Single copper Habaki.
Blade length : 65.3 cm or 25.70 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.01cm or 1.18 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.01 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period. around Kanbun era.
Shape : Regular size, nice shape Katana.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha base, Notare. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Toyomasa is a swordsmith of Bingo.
He was active during Kanbun period. This work resembles the wave motion.
It is like Echizen Yasutsufu work.
He is not a famous swordsmith but it is solid and good work.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Mokko shape iron Tsuba, leaves are engraved.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, Aoi leaves and bamboo blind are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Chrysanthemum is engraved with gold color.
