Katana: Kikumon Tanba kami Yoshimichi(Kyo 3rd generation)

Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae(NBTHK Hozon paper)

Signature : Kikumon Tanba kami Yoshimichi(Kyo 3rd generation)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 67.27 cm or 26.48 inches.
Sori : 0.9 cm or 0.35 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.86 cm or 1.125 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.01 cm or 0.79 inches.
Kasane : 0.3 cm or 0.11 inches.
Era : Edo period around Kanbun era.
Shape : regular size with shallow Sori blade. Kanbun Shinto style.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. This is beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki Sudareba.

Special feature : Tanba Kami Yoshimichi were devised Kyo and Oosaka. 
Both of them tried to make Sudareba hamon.
According to the sword book, it is very difficult to make Sudareba.
So both of school keep secret to make Sudareba for a long time.
Even if modern times, wordsmith says it is difficult to make same Hamon.
This blade was made by Yoshimichi(Kyo 3rd generation). Due to the short-lived, his blade is a few.

Koshriea:
Tsuba: Round shape iron Tsuba, the rim is Shakudo. tree is engraved with open work.
Menuki: Shakudo, Kabuto is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira: Shakudo、cicada is engraved with gold color. Signature: Omori Shigemitsu.
Saya: Black Kizami Saya.
