Iaido Katana

Signature: Mumei (Fujiwara Takada)

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 71.51cm or 28.15inches.
Sori : 1.2cm or 0.47inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.9cm or 1.14 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.97cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.675cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Early Edo period.
Shape : It is Suriage Machiokuri(cut shorten) sword with much Sori.
It is long Kissaki nice shape katana.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained iwth jinie attached, It is moisty Jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki Gunome midare with mixture of Choji midare.
There is Ashi and Yo work and it is hakikake style.

Special feature : Fujiwara Takada has been very successful
from late Muromachi period.It is fine sword without any Kizu or flaws.

Tsuba: Mokko shape iron tsuba with leaf pattern engraved.
Fuchigashira: Shakudo Muji
Saya:Black Roiro Saya
Menuki: Brass plate with crab design engraved.
