(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Mumei (Kodai Omi kami Hisamichi) belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 68.6 cm or 27.0 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.09 cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.19 cm or 0.86 inches.
Kasane : 0.73 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Genroku era.
Shape : Wide and thick blade with small Sori. Kissaki is long.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. The Jigane is beautiful.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare. There are many Ashi.
Boshi is round Hakikake shape.

Special feature : This Nakago is Ubu Mumei. From the Nakago shape,
we guess that blade is Hisamichi of Shinshinto.
Unfortunately there is Kitae Kizu on the Shinogi-Ji of Hamachi part.
But this blade is suitable for Iai and Battodo.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Iron Tsuba with Itame pattern.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, tree, blanch and flower are engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Copper, flower is engraved.
