Special feature :
Shikkake is a swordsmith from where it is now Shikake of Amari City Nara Prefecture.
The name Shikkake comes from square Shikkake Rock that was used to rest the protable shrine of Yamato Shrine.
The Yamato sword of that time had extremely fine jigane piece and the deep nioiguchi and elegance of this katana could also be accepted as Taima sword.
The soft nioiguchi hamon and the fine jitetsu shows the Taima characteristic.
At the same time, Yamato school has wide shinogi that would match all the Big 5 Yamato School characteristic,
It is fortunate that there is no Shinogi-ji on the hi. This allows us to see the condition of that time.
Shikkake blades have suguha style gunome midare however, this sword looks like Yamato Shizu from the first glance from the many activities in the ha including the activities on the boshi.
It is a sword that would be very fulfilling to observe. It will make us forget time just observing the activities in the ha.
