The blade was polished.
Blade length : 63.7 cm or 25.07 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.23 cm or 1.27 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Showa period. During war time.
Shape : It is wide and thick firm katana.
Much sori curvature on the ha.
Jitetsu :Muji hada.
Hamon : Nioi Deki gunome midare with ashi well attached.

Special feature : Noshu seki jyu Hattori Masahiro saku is said
to have producing swords during the war time
but we are not sure of the details.
This work is so called Aburayaki(unforged Katana) yet
if it was not used in cold district the sharpness is no different
to (traditionally made) Nihonto.
It is now quite precious reference after 70 years after the war end.

The saya is wooden black Nuri saya.
