Signature : Oumi Kami Takagi Ju Sukenao

Shinto: Jyojyo Saku: Ryo Wazamono: Settsu province.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Oumi Kami Takagi Ju Sukenao belongs to Saijo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 63.93cm or 25.16inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.35 cm or 1.31 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.67 cm or 1.05 inches.
Kasane : 0.65 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period. Enpo era.(1673-1681)
Shape : Wide and rather thick, nice shape Katana. Ubu-Nakago.
Jitetsu : Ko-Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Notare-Ha, Kuichigai-Ha and Ko-Gunome mixed.
There are many Sunagashi. Nioikuchi is deep. Boshi is small round shape.

Special feature : Oumi Kami Takagi Jyu Sukenao was borned at Oumi Takagi province.
At Kanei 16th he entered under the Sukehiro great swordsmith.
After that he got married with his master Sukehiro's daughter and made swords with Sukehiro.
He sometimes made signature of the Oumi Kami Takagi Jyu Sukenao
Because he was borned at Takagi province. He was making sword
with Sukehiro but he was treated as a sword smith not a student because of sister's husband.
Therefor he made many swords during in his life.
This blade has excellent Jigane. We recommend this blade very much.

This blade has been published in Sukehiro Taikan and Echizen kami Sukehiro Taikan.
