Katana in Shirasaya (NTHK estimation Paper)

Signature : Yamato kami Yoshimichi

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jojo saku ranking.
The blade was polished
Habaki :gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 65.1cm or 25.62 inches.
Sori : 1.8 cm or 0.70 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 3.2 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.3 cm or 0.90 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : Suriage, Machiokuri Katana. There are Bo-Hi on both side.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attach. This is beautiful Osaka Jigane.
Hamon : Nie Deki Gunome Midare. There are many Ashi, Yo ans Sunagashi.

Special feature : Yamato kami Yoshimichi is second son of Osaka 1st generation Yoshimichi.
His Hamon looks like Kobushi Choji of 2nd Kawachi kami Kunisuke.
Some times he made Sudare-Ha. This blade is Suriage. But the work is very nice.
The balance is also good.
