Width at the hamachi : 3.09 cm or 1.21 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.09 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era :Edo Period Kanbun era
Shape : It is long with moderate sori. It is magnificent looking katana.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. There are detailed chikei
with very fine jigane.

Hamon :Konie base suguha style with mixture of kogunome. The nioikuchi is bright with bright ha. There are various activities in the ha including ashi, delicate sunagashi and kinsuji streaks.

Special feature : Tanba no Kami Hojyouji Tachibana Sadakuni is from Hokujyouji school. It is second successful sword smith of that time. His pieces look very alike
to Nagasone Kotetsu pieces.
This sword is a saidan mei sword which has been qualified as Jyuyo Token.
Koshirae : It is very good quality sword koshirae
Tsuba : Shakudou nanakoji with dragon engraved. Gold inlay is applied.
Fuchikashira :Shakudou nanakoji with dragon engraved. Gold inlay is applied.
Saya : Black Roiro saya
Menuki : Shakudou base with dragon engraved. Gold inlay is applied.
Kozuka : Shakudou nanakoji with dragon engraved. Gold inlay is applied.
Kogatana : Mumei
Kougai: Shakudou nanakoji with dragon engraved. Gold inlay is applied.
