Shinshinto:Saijyosaku the highest sword ranking in Shinshinto:Musashi province.
The blade was polished.
Habaki:Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 24.54cm or 9.67inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.68cm or 1.05 inches.
Kasane : 0.64cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is wide and rather long nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair cyoji midair mix with sunagashi and kinsuji work.

Special feature : Naotane is a successful sword smith representing the Edo Shinshito era. He was born in Uzen Yamagata at Ansei 7 (year 1778).
He had a name of Soushi Byouei and become a student of Suishinshi Masahide.
He has worked under Kanrinjyou Shu Kakimoto ke with his mentor Masahide.
At Bunsei 4th and 5th year (1821 to 1822) he has receive the name Chikuzen Daijyo becoming a MIno.
His work differs by period.
At early bunk period, he has made Doiranba pieces like his mentor while in Tenpo period, he makes Soshuden, Minoden and Yamashiroden suguha blades as well.
It is quite rear item for Naotane.
