Mei (signature) : Chikusyu Jyu So Tsutomu Saku. Mukansa swordsmith.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo sakuJyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijyo saku(top ranking) ranking.

Maximal length : 12.5cm from Hamachi to the point.

Jidai(era) : Gendai.
Special feature : So Tsutomu is a famous gendai swordsmith of Fukuoka pref. In Kyushu.
He was born in 1927 and learned under So Masamitsu.
Tsutomu got many prizes at the annual sword making contests and was approved Mukansa-tosho.
He modeled Kiyomaro or Sukehiro and Suguha-hamon is comparatively rare.
So Tsutomu is a famous gendai swordsmith of Fukuoka pref. In Kyushu.
He was born in 1927 and learned under So Masamitsu.
Tsutomu got many prizes at the annual sword making contests and was approved Mukansa-tosho.
He is very good at forging sword modeled on Kiyomaro or Sukehiro.
Even the Bizen-den and the Yamashiro-den also fell into his hands.
Tsutomu aimed at Kotetsu on this katana and shows a complete work.
It should show you something of a boundless of his protean ability.
Unfortunately he passed away Heise 27th Feb, 24th.
This Kogatana was polished by Ningen Kokuho(Human national treasure) Fujishiro Matsuo polisher.
The Jigane is wonderful and excellent gunome midair hamon bright and marvelous hamon.
