Naginata: Mumei attributed as Higo Kami Kuniyasu

Naginata with Habaki(Guarantee: NBTHK Hozon Paper)

Signature : Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Higo Kami Kuniyasu.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to regular saki.
The blade was polished.
habaki:double copper plate.
Blade length : 39.4cm or 15.51 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.6 cm or 1.02 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era :Edo period Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is rather longer size Naginata.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach nice texture.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midare and Kobushi Cyoji midare hamon.
The hamon is soft feeling nioikuchi ash and yo.

Special feature : This Naginata is Mumei but I think the blade looks like 2nd generation Kawachi Kami Kunisuke
or Higo Kami Kuniyasu because of the Kobushi cyoji midair hamon and also nakago jiri.
The blade hamon is active and nice Jigane. This Naginata has only Habaki.
