The blade was polished.
Habaki : Copper single habaki.
Blade length : 68.18 cm or 26.84 inches.
Sori : 1.96 cm or 0.77 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.14 cm or 1.23 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.76 cm or 0.29 inches.
Weight of only blade: around 780 grams.
Era : Showa (1945.6)
Shape : It is wide and thick strong katana with some sori seen. It is long kissaki magnificent looking katana.
Jitetsu :Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is nice clear jigane.
Hamon : Konie ground in kogunome line with mixture of shoji.
The hamon top(atama) is in equal length. Boushi is mixed up style.

Special feature : Minamoto Teruyoshi is a smith that was making sword at war times.
The jigane and hamon is good and in nice condition. At first glance, it reminds of Tairyuusai Soukan.

Historical background: It is time when the war was almost over and
the defeat of Japan was clear.
