This sword belongs to Jyo-saku ranking as Kanetsuna.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Single silver Habaki
Blade length : 25.0 cm or 9.8 inches.
Sori : No Sori
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.05 cm or 1.2 inches.
Kasane : 0.89 cm or 0.35 inches.
Era : Modern
Shape : Rather wide and 0.89cm thick like as Yoroi-doshi.
Jigane : Koitame Hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Niedeki Notare with Sunagashi and fine Kinsuji work, Boshi is round end and Hakikake style.

Special feature : Swords smith Okubo Kazuhira has born Showa 18 (A.D.1943).
He was a student of Miyairi Akihira for 5 years and received many awards.
His work was Soshuden like as his master.
He became Mukansa at Heisei 12 (A.D. 2000), but died 3 years later.
This thick blade has been made by request of someone ordered.
