(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This sword belongs to Jyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki :Silver single foiled habaki.
Blade length : 22.0cm or 8.74 inches.
Sori : 0 cm or 0 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.49cm or 0.98 inches.
Kasane : 1.02cm or 0.40 inches.
Era : Middle to late Edo Period
Shape: It is Yoroi Doshi size thick and meaty tanto,
Jitetsu: Koitame hada well grained. The jigane has soft feeling.
Hamon: Nie deki, deep nioiguchi. It is thick suguha.
From the Habuchi(ha edge) there is soft boshi appearing.
The turn back of the boshi is deep.

Special feature :From the JIgane and hamon it could be attributed as a sword
of Satsuma province. It is high quality blade of Yasuyuki.
The nakago tang is long and the filing mark was originally
Higaki(cypress fence pattern) style.
In any case, it is solid Yoroi doshi jigane and hamon.
It is healthy blade that resembles old Taima works.
