Signature : Mumei (Unsigned) 

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Syakudo hitoe.
Blade length : 25.1 cm or 9.88 inches.
Sori : 0.3 cm or 0.11 inches.
Mekugi :1
Width at the hamachi : 2.30 cm or 0.9 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.79 cm or 0.7 inches.
Kasane : 0.57 cm or 0.22 inches.
Era : late Edo period.
Shape : Shinogizukuri Tanto.
Jitetsu : Itame had grained with jinie attach and masanagare.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and middle part is nioigire.

Special feature : From the Jigane and hamon, the blade looks late Edo period.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Syakudo plain plate.
Fuchikashira : On the syakudo plate, grapes and leaves are engraved with gold color and copper plate.
Saya : Black rotor saya and some part is kizami saya.
Menuki : On the syakudo plate, cicada is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka : On the iron plate, a cicada is engraved.
Kogatana : Mei is mentioned as Taira??.
