The blade was polished.
Blade length : 26.2 cm or 10.31 inches.
Sori : No Sori
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.42 cm or 0.95 inches.
Kasane : 0.51 cm or 0.2 inches.
Era : Kamakura period.
Shape : Mitsu Mune, 2 Suji-Hi, Bonji and Ken.
Jitetsu :Ko-Itame Hada and Ko Mokume Hada mixed with fine Jinie and Chikei. This is beautiful Jigane.
Hamon : Ko-Nie Deki Suguha. In Ha, there are many Sunagashi and fine Kinsuji.

Special feature : Ryokai Hisanobu is son of Yamashiro Ryokai.
And also Ryokai Hisanobu is father of Nobukuni (first generation).
He was studied under the Rai Kunitoshi.
This Jigane is very nice. There are many Kinsuji.
We are impressed by Jigane of Yamashiro beauty.

Fuchikashira : Shakudo Nanako, Kiri mon with gold color.
Saya : Black roiro.
Menuki : Round shape Shakudo Nanako, Kiri mon with gold color.
Kozuka : Shakudo Nanako, reaves are engraved with gold color.
