Special feature:Round shape iron tsuba with pine, bamboo and fog design engraved and inlaid with gold cloth pattern.
It is thought that Awa-Shoami was derived from Kyo-Shoami. Awa-Shoami prospered in the castle town of the Hachisuka family, known as a famous Daimyo in Awa province, present Tokushima pref. Almost of all the works were not signed to present as Kenjo-tsuba. This tsuba is excellent layout of bamboo and gold design. The gold cloth inlay is clear and vivid as well.
