Wakizashi: Ise Kami Fujiwara Nobusada

Wakizashi in Koshirae

Signature : Ise Kami Fujiwara Nobusada.(We guarantee the blade is genuine.)

Shinto: Ryo saku:Mino province
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saki)This Ise Kami Fujiwara Nobusada. belongs to Jyo saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: copper double habaki.
Blade length : 54.3 cm or 21.37 inches.
Sori : 1.2 cm or 0.47 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.19 cm or 1.25 inches.
Width at the Kissaki :2.36 cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.75 cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Edo period, around Kanbun era.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick
with small sori like Kanbun shape.
Jitetsu :Itame had well grained with jinie attach
and blackish hadatachi jigane.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with togari gunome midair mixed with sunagashi work.

Special feature : Ise Kami Fujiwara Nobusada was working at Mino province.
At that time, Japan was war time. Many daimyo fighting at many places so it is necessary to provide a lot of swords.
Mino district is a nuclear point for battling and also making swords.
The Nobusada was a stream of Ganmaki school which school is well known cut well swords. His real name was Ganmaki Ichiro daemon.
