The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold single foil habaki
Blade length : 33.0 cm or 12.99 inches.
Sori : 0.3 cm or 0.11 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.01 cm or 1.18 inches.
Kasane : 0.71 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : It has ample width 3.3cm and the
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with delicate jinie attached. It is a beautiful hamon.
Hamon : NIe based suguha with round end boshi.

Special feature : Mei jyuu Mishina Yoshitomo sai HIrofusa is the swordsmith in Ise.
As the son of HIromichi, he was named Mishina Hanbee. He was famous for making fake swords called "Kuwanada".
On the back side of the nakago, it is engraved as Motte Tado Sai Ka Kitaeno.
The meaning is it is forged by fire a lot more than usual.
This is nice quality jigane which looks like jigane from early Muromachi at first glance.
It is hardly recognized as fake blade by the blade. It is a very fine piece indeed.

Tsuba : Round shape iron tsuba with dragon engraved in open work. The rim is covered with silver.
Fuchikashira : Shakudou base with wave and dragon design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : Black kizami saya
Menuki : Lion design engraved with inlay of gold.
Kozuka : On the copper plate, Lion design engraved with inlay of gold and silver.
