The blade was polished.
Blade length : 44.0cm or 17.33inches.
Sori : 1.2cm or 0.47inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.68cm or 1.05inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.2cm or 0.47inches.
Kasane : 1cm or 0.39 inches.
Era : Middle or late Muromachi period.
Shape : It is rather wide, thick kasane katana. There are some sori.
It is nice shape katana.
Jitetsu :Koitame-hada well grained with Jinie attached.
Hamon : Ko-nie deki, Sugugha. Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : Mihara school had been prospered from late Kamakura
to late Muromachi period,in Bingo province present Okayama prefecture.
Especially the works of last Kamakura to Namboku-cho period are called Ko-Mihara.
And works in Muromachi period are called Sue-Mihara
Mihara school had been influenced by the Yamato School.
(As features, mainly Suguha with slight Midare-ba, smooty Itame-hada.)

Tsuba : signature: Echizen ju Kinai: round shape iron Tsuba, leaves are engraved with openwork.
Fuchikashira : On the Shakudo plate, wave and bird is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Black roiro.
Menuki : On the Shakudo plate, cow carriage is engraved with gold color.
Kozuka Kogatana : signature: Yanagawa Naoharu(Kao): On the Shakudo plate, flower is engraved with gold color.
