He has moved from the prizon in Shikoku(smallest main island of Japan.) to Okayama prizon.
He was a very caring person and has collected the prisoners who deserve sympathy to make swords.
He was popular among the prisoners and the swords were made in serious manner.
In the neighborhood, there was a place for swords to be polished as well.
At the mean time, Nagamitsu, the head guard at the time, also made sword but Emura made better swords and done better polishing.
Emura pieces were far more high quality and the well polished swords were far more interesting than Yasukuni swords.
It is most likely that the Emura sword will be valued high hereafter.
Most showa swords has low grade polish called "Pafu-ken (a polish method by using soft cloth to show the shine of the sword.) " there fore it will be compared poorly by Yasukuni sword or other swords.
It is therefore interesting to see how Emura would be evaluated in the near future. This sword is well made Emura piece.
