Signature: Bizen Osafune Sukenaga

The blade was polished.
Habaki: Silver Single Foiled
Blade length : 57.88cm or 57.88inches.
Sori : 1.56 cm or 0.61inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.25cm or 0.89 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.7cm or 0.67inches.
Kasane : 0.6cm or 0.24inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : It is wide and thick elegant shape katana. It is short size for katana
which also could be described as O-wakizashi.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is Muji style piece.
Hamon : Nie structure starting from suguha at the hamachi and gradually becomes gunome midare. Boushi is round end.

Special feature : Daisho Issaku koshire and the inside Sukenaga is also Sukenaga piece.
Generally when wearing a sword to the castle, people used short size daisho. The tsuka kashira is usually tsuno style.

Tsuba : Mokko shape iron tsuba
Fuchi; Shakudo nanakoji plate with peony design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Saya : It is dark brown ishimeji saya
Menuki : Shakudo plate with warrior design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Kozuka: Shakudo nanakoji plate with warrior design engraved and inlayed with gold.

Shape : It is small size daisho koshirae wakizashi.
