Dai : Katana in Shirasaya
Signature : Bushu Shomaru Toge Ju Ozawa Masatoshi saku
Showa 57 nen 8 gatsu Hi (August 1982)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to Saijo Saku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki : gold foiled double Habaki.
Blade length : 76.7 cm or 30.19 inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.38 cm or 1.33 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.71 cm or 1.06 inches.
Kasane : 0.87 cm or 0.34 inches.
Era : modern times.(August 1982)
Shape : Mitsumune, wide and thick blade with Okissaki.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada well grained with Jinie attached. There are fine Chikei. It is clear Jigana.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Gunome Midare with deep Nioikuchi and many Ashi.
In Ha, there are many Sunagashi and Kinsuji. Boshi is Gunome Midare Saki-Togarigokoro.

Special feature : Ozawa Masatoshi was born on May 25th 1920.
He was a student of Miyaguchi Yasuhiro. He lived in Hanou city Saitama prefecture.
He made Soshu-Den and Bizen-Den blade.
This blade is magnificent. It looks like the copy of Kiyomaro. The Gunome Midare Hamon is very nice.
And also, there are a lot of works in Ha. He got many prizes.
He passed way 1993 at age of 73.
