Mei (signature) : Nanki Kanehara Naomichi.

Length : 8.53 cm x 7.94 cm (3.35 inches x 3.12 inches)
Thickness of rim : 0.42 cm (0.16 inches)

Tsuba : Small
Length : 7.10 cm x 6.51 cm (2.79 inches x 2.56 inches)
Thickness of rim : 0.40 cm (0.15 inches)

Jidai(era) : Late Edo period.

Special feature : Naomichi is a son of the Kanehara Naosada who is a wordsmith of the Kisyu Tokugawa daimyo family.
His name is mentioned as Ryugiken Kinbara Nagamichi and Nanki Kinbara Naomichi and made Japanese Kiku flowers and plants.
He lived at Kisyu Wakayama province.
These Daisyo Tsuba are square mokko style well grained iron plate,
rise up small mimi and engrave wild waves and flying plovers with gold color.
This daisy set stub obtained NBTHK Tokubetsu hozon paper.
The Tsuba is the best quality without Kizu and flow.
