Kogai
Length : 1.22 cm x 21.2 cm ( 0.48 inches x 8.34 inches)
Mei (signature) : Horie Okimasa (Kao)
Jidai(era) : Late Edo period.
Special feature: On the Shakudo nanako plate, Kiku flowers are engraved.
Kozuka
Length : 1.45 cm x 9.72 cm ( 0.57 inches x 3.82 inches)
Mei (signature) : Horie Okimasa (Kao)
Jidai(era) : Late Edo period.
Special feature: On the Shakudo nanako plate, flowers are engraved.

Okimasa was a craftsman in late Edo period. And he studied under Hamano Masayuki, and Okimasa was called Masuyuki then.
After his Hamano Masayuki’s death, he studied under Omori Eishu, and Ozaki Naomasa.
And he changed his signature to “Horie Okimasa.”
