Koukei (Caliber) : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.
Era : Edo period.
Special feature : Aiya Yozaemon is blacksmith of Hinawa Ju at Sakai (Osaka). There is a cloth pattern inlay engraved in minute Nunome Zogan inlay. There is Mouri family crest and inlayed with silver.
The stand is made from high quality oak. Because it is cherished for long period, the color has drop into dark brown.
It is rare to see best quality Hinawajyu gun with family crest. The other
parts of the sword is in the best quality too.
