The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold double foiled habaki
Blade length : 39.09cm or 15.4cm
Sori : 0.75cm or 0.3inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.24cm or 1.28inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 0.6cm or 0.24inches.
Kasane : 0.6cm or 0.24inches.
Weight of only blade: around 316g
Era : Late Nanbokucho period Ouei period.
Shape : It is wide and thick some sakizori. There is two hi.
Jitetsu :Itame hada well grained with jinie attached. It is regretted that some kitae
cracks are seen.
Hamon : NIe base gunome mixture. It is hitatsura temper line with sunagashi.

Special feature : The origin of Hasebe is Hasebe Kunishige. He was a swordsmith of
Yamashiro and is known as one of Masamune Jyuttetsu,
He has made many hitatsura swords so as Hiromitsu and Akihiro.
This piece was attributed as one of the sword of Hasebe school. Because there
are some curve that the top part, it will most likely estimated as Ouei period piece.
It is wide and thick hirauchi piece with many activities.
