The blade was polished
Habaki :copper single habaki.
Blade length : 54.2 cm or 21.33 inches.
Sori : 1.6 cm or 0.62 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi :2.81 cm or 1.10 inches.
Width at the Kissaki 2.07cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.75: cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Esdo period, around Hoei to Kyoho era.
Shape : The blade is regular size with deeper sori
and longer kissaki nice shape.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair which looks like
Doranba hamon active wildish hamon.
In hamon, sunagashi and small kinsuji work.

Special feature : First generation Kanewaka started
from Keicho era and succeeded 2nd and 3rd generations.
First generation had quite well repotted sword maker.
Ancient story says that If the Samurai has Kanewaka,
give a daughter as a bride even if he is poor samurai.
Kanewaka's Hamon is square shape and 2nd, and 3rd generation has same stream.
This blade is wild feeling Gunome midair like Tsutusi Kijyu.

Koshirae :
Tsuba :On the round shape iron Tsuba, matsu tree is engraved open work.
Fuchikashira :On the syakudo nanako plate, a Japanese ship
and riding many people are engraved with gold color.
Saya : black roar saya.
Menuki : A samurai is riding on the dragon is engraved by syakudo plate.
