Hukuro yari : Mumei (Chikusi Nobukuni)

Hukuro Yari in Koshirae.(NBTHK Kicyo paper)

Signature : Mumei(unsigned) attributed as Chikusi Nobukuni.

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku, Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Chikusi Nobukuni belongs to Jyo-saku ranking.

The blade was polished.
Blade length : 19 cm or 7.48 inches.
Sori : No Sori
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.35cm or 0.92 inches.
Kasane : 0.7 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : Sasaho Hukuro Yari unusual shape.
Jigane : Masame hada well grained with jinie attach and chikei work along with masame hada.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha based with deeper nioikuchi with sunagashi.
Boshi is also hakikae style.

spaecial feature : Chikushi Nobukunni was working at late Muromachi period.
But from the jigane and hamon, the blade looks Kongo Hyouei or Naminohira.

Koshirae : Red color saya with rock shape gold color cap.
