Signature : Bishu Osafune Yukimitsu ? (2nd generation)
Meiou 7 nen28 gatsu hi (1498.2)

(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Bishu Osafune Yukimitsu belongs to Jyojyo saku ranking.

The blade was polished by good polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled single habaki.
Blade length : 60.2 cm or 23.70 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.04 cm or 1.19 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.00 cm or 0.78 inches.
Kasane : 0.72 cm or 0.28 inches.
Era : Muromachi period around Meiou era(1498).
Shape : The blade is elegant shape with deep sori.
Jitetsu : Koitame had and komokume had mixed with jinie attach and clear utsuri appear nice soft feeling texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha and in Ha, another suguha style hamon work.
Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : The founder of the Bishu Osafune Yukimitsu started from Nanbokucyo period which is called Kozori bizen school.
This sword belongs to 2nd generation.
The sword is elegant shape with deep sori nice looking style.
On the jigane, clear utsuri appear.
