Habaki : Gold double foiled habaki.
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 65.2 cm or 25.7 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.85 cm or 1.12 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.13 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.68 cm or 0.26 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The blade is regular sized sword.
Jitetsu : Itame hada well grained but some openings and flow.
Hamon : Koniedeki small gunome midare and Choji midare mixed.
From Monouchi area, the Yakiba is thin.

Special feature : From the Hamon and blackish Jigane, the blade looks like Kashu Noriie.
I think the sword is suitable for Iai practice.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : On the round shaped iron open work, a leaf is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : On the iron plate, kiku flower is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Kawarinuri saya.
Menuki : Gosho guruma in engraved.
