Shape : It is wide and regular long katana. There is some sori and kissaki is long ended.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada with mixture of mokume hada. Chikei is clearly attached.
Hamon : Nie structure deep nioiguchi hamon with thick suguha with notare mixed.
There are many ashi and yo activities. It is smoking hot katana. Boushi round ended.
Special feature : HIzen koku Jyunin Minamoto Yoshinobu is the son-in-law of first generation Tadayoshi and was the father of Masahiro and Yukimasa.
He is a student of Umetada Akiyoshi and has started studying with first generation Yoshinobu.
He has passed away at Kanen 13th year at the age of 46.
This piece is long sword with deep nioiguchi.
It is at first glance identical to first generation Tadayoshi and it is excellent work.
It is currently Tokubetsu Kicho Paper but we gurantee that there is no problem.
He has died young but if he had lived longer, he would have left many masterpieces.
Tsuba : Octagon iron tsuba with rim standing up.
Design of bamboos and dragonfly is engraved and inlayed with gold.
On the surface there is flower design engraved and inlayed with gold.
Fuchikashira : Iron plate brass with family crest engraved.
Saya : Red color saya
Menuki : Shakudo plate with flower designa engraved and inlayed with gold.
