(Shinto Saijo-saku, Saijo-Owazamono, Hizen province.)
The blade was polished.
Blade length : 66.9 cm or 26.33 inches.
Sori : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Mekugi: 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.05 cm or 1.20 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.94 cm or 0.76 inches.
Kasane : 0.66 cm or 0.25 inches.
Era : Edo period Keicyo period.
Shape : The blade is Orikaeshi mei and wide with good sori nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Ko-itame with Jinie and Chikei attach. It’s Konuka hada.
Hamon : Nie based, Suguha style and Komidare mix.

Special feature : The 1st generation Tadayoshi was called Hashimoto Shinzaemon.
And he was the most famous swordsmith in Hizen province.
Also he studied engraving under Umetada myojyu.
In early time, he engraved the signature “Tadayoshi”, and next, he
engraved “Hizen no kuni Junin Tadayoshi saku.”
And after that, he engraved the signature “Musashi Daijo Fujiwara Tadahiro” and “Hizen nokuni Tadahiro”.
Since 1610 to early Gen-na era, he engraved “Hizen no kuni Junin
Tadayoshi saku.”, At that period, he made old Koto style sword like Yamato-Shizu and other regular simple Koto blade.
Even though the blade is suriage but the beautiful texture and mild Shizu style elegant sword is attractive sword.
The Tadayoshi first generation is the top ranking wordsmith in all of the shito period sword makers.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Shakudo Tusba with wave design. The rim is coved with gold.
Fuchikashira : Shakudo plate, wave is engraved with gold color.
Saya : Kawari Saya.
Menuki : Plovers are engraved with gold color.
