The blade was polished by high ranking polisher.
Blade length : 68.2 cm or 26.85 inches.
Sori : 2.6 cm or 1.02 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 3.11cm or 1.22 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.26 cm or 0.88 inches.
Kasane : 0.79 cm or 0.31 inches.
weight : 795 grams.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick with deep sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Koitame had well grained with jinie attach like Konuka hada.
Hamon : Koniedeki cyusuguha with ash, yo scatter in Ha,Boshi is round shape.

Special feature : 9th generation Tadayoshi was born at 1832 and passed away 1880.
At Meiji 4th,Japanese government issued the ddecree banning the wearing of swords.
So he had to stop making swords. This sword remind us the age of Musashi Daijyou Tadahiro of the first generation Tadayoshi.
This nioikuchi Cyusuguha hamon, (middle suguha with thick nioikuchi)many ashi, Yo scatter in Ha.
The sword is wonderful texture and nice work.
The sword is full polished without Kizu and scratches.
