Width at the hamachi :3.05 cm or 1.2 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.1 cm or 0.82 inches.
Kasane : 0.72cm or 0.83 inches.
Weight of only blade: 755 grams.
Era : late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is rather wide and thick Nagamaki style sword.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach with chikei.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha based double hamon and three fold with sunagashi a lot and also small kinsuji.

Special feature : The signature is mentioned as Norishige but unfortunately the signature is fake.
From the jigane and hamon, the blade must be Nakayama Kurando Yoshihiro who was working at Suruga province.
He was named Suzuki Zenkichi for the first stage and worked under the Egawa Taro daemon
who was a local governor and also made Japanese gun by using reverberator.
After that he moved other places for making swords. His sword is big difference compare with other swords.
Probably his technique of making Japanese gun helped a lot Japanese swords.
His subjects are very few. I think his swords was changed to Koto Norishige or other sword.
This blade remind us old sosyu school like Norishige and others.
Even if the blade is fake, the sword itself nice Jigane and Hamon.
Of course if we remove the signature, the blade will pass NBTHK paper.
The sword is good condition without Kizu and flow.
