(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
This Mishina Minamoto Naomichi belongs to Jyosaku ranking.
The blade was polished.
Habaki: Gold foiled single Habaki.
Blade length : 69.8 cm or 27.48 inches.
Sori : 2.0 cm or 0.78 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.93 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.12 cm or 0.83 inches.
Kasane : 0.74cm or 0.29 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : Regular size Katana with Sori.
Jitetsu : Itame Hada and O-Itame Hama mix with Masa. There are some Hadadachi part.
Hamon : Nie Deki, Suguha. There are double-Ha. The Nioikuchi is deep. The Habuchi is soft.
Boshi is round Yakisage style.

Special feature : Mishina Minamoto Naomichi is student of Inshu Hamabe Jukaku.
He made the sword with high qualiuty iron sand. He moved Edo province.
This blade has signature "???? Denka Fukada Masaaki, Bunka 5 Tatsu nen 8 Gatsu Kichijitsu
(Family tresure sword, Mr. Fukada Masaki, August 1808) ".
Mr.Fukada Masaaki is magistrate of books of Feudal retainer of Owari Domain.
He passed away 1850 at age of 78.

Koshirae :
Tsuba : Mokko shape iron Tsuba, flower is inlayed with brass.
Fuchikashira : Iron with gold color. Higo.
Saya : Black Roiro Saya.
Menuki : Some design is engraved with gold color.
