This sword belongs to Saijo saku ranking.
The blade is polished by highest polisher.
Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 68.9 cm or 2.71 inches.
Sori : 1.52 cm or 0.60 inches.
Mekugi : 2
Width at the hamachi : 3.18 cm or 1.25 inches.
Kasane : 0.84 cm or 0.33 inches.
Era : Late Kamakura period.
Shape : Shobu Zukuri style with wide thick blade, shallow curved Naginata Naoshi (fixed from Naginata) Osuriage Mumei.
Jigane : Itame-hada well grained with Jinie attach and Chirimen-hada appear on beautiful aoe texture with Jifu Utsuri.
Hamon : Konie-deki Suguha with small Choji, Gunome, Sakasa Choji-midare mixed and Boshi turns Yakizume style.
Special feature : This blade is typical Naginata Naoshi style.
We can figure out that the blade should be Kanmuri Otoshi style, because we can find tracesmarks of Soe-Hi around Habaki.
