Katana in Shirasaya with Koshirae.
Signature : Mumei (unsigned) attributed as Sue-Seki school.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku Jyo saku and regular saku)
This sword belongs to regular saku ranking.

The blade is polished.
Habaki : Silver single habaki.
Blade length : 68,0 cm or 26.8 inches.
Sori : 1,9 cm or 0.75 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2,68 cm or 1.06 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1,88 cm or 0.74 inches.
Kasane : 0,68 cm or 0.27 inches.
Era : Late Muromachi period.
Shape : The sword is Oosuriage Mumei (cut shortened) standard balanced blade with deep curve nice looking shape.
Jigane : Itame-hada with Masame-hada mixed with Jinie attach and texture can be seen very well.
Hamon : Niedeki Ko-Gunome with Sunagashi work.
Special feature : This blade seems to be forged by Sue-Seki school because from its Itame-hada and Ko-Gunome-midare Hamon.
Kanemoto and Kanesada are very famous from this school.

Koshirae : Tachi Koshirae.
Saya : Kawarinuri saya.
Tsuba : Carp is engraved with brass color such like Jinogo-Tsuba.
Menuki : A dragon is engraved with gold color.
Fuchikashira : Kojiri : Made from iron plate.
