explanation: Hosaka Hachiro Minamoto Masatsugu
who lives in Kasama province made this sword.
Mr Kimura requested to make the sword and satisfied the grain of the blade.

The blade was polished by good polisher.
Blade length : 70.6 cm or 27.79 inches.
Sori : 2.8 cm or 1.10 inches.
Mekugi : 1
Width at the hamachi : 2.52 cm or 0.99 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 1.60 cm or 0.62 inches.
Kasane : 0.96 cm or 0.37 inches.
Era : Late Edo period.
Shape : The blade is regularize but very thick (0.96cm)
with deep sori nice looking shape.
On both sides engrave Bo-Hi.
Jitetsu :Koitame had well grained with jinie attach beautiful texture.
Hamon : Niedeki suguha with ash and small ash work and sunagashi in Ha. Boshi is hakikake style.

Special feature : Hosaka Takehachiro Minamoto Masatsugu was working at Hitachi province and influenced by Norikatsu(Tokkatsu).
This sword is very healthy without Kizu and flow.
