Signature : Mumei (Den Yoshikage)

Middle Koto:Jyosaku ranking:Oowaza mono cutting test ranking.Bizen school.
(We divide 4 sections for each sword as Saijyo saku, Jyojyo saku
Jyo saku and regular saku)
THis sword belongs to Jyo saki ranking.

The blade was polished.
Habaki : Gold foiled double habaki.
Blade length : 69.2 cm or 27.24 inches.
Sori : 1.3 cm or 0.51 inches.
Mekugi : 3
Width at the hamachi : 2.93 cm or 1.15 inches.
Width at the Kissaki : 2.07 cm or 0.81 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm or 0.24 inches.
Era : Nanbokucyo period. (1336-1392)
Shape : The blade is oosuriage mumei(cut shortened) and regular width and thickness with rather deeo sori and longer kissaki nice looking shape.
Jitetsu : Item had and mokume had mixed with jinie attach some Utssuri appear on the Ji.
The shinogiji is Itame had and masanagare.
Hamon : Niedeki gunome midair with ash and Yo work.
Boshi is midarekomi style.

Special feature : Yoshikage was reported as Kanemitsu or Cyogi school but recently he was a student of Chikakage by the recent study.
This sword is Itame and Mokume convined with nice clear Utsuri and also a lot of activities of the Kinsuji and Sunagashi.
He made many Nagamaki style swords mainly but he also made regular style swords.
